Abstract
1432872 Diver's air supply NEMROD METZELER SA 5 July 1973 [5 July 1972] 32028/73 Heading B7U [Also in Division F2] A valve assembly controlling the supply of air from a compressed air reservoir at 9 to a diver via inlet 10, duct 13, orifice 47 and outlet 48 comprises a normally closed valve 23 in limb 7<SP>1</SP> operable to permit air flow from the reservoir to the diver. A second valve 16 responsive to the ambient water pressure through perforated cover 21 and resilient cap 22 and to the inlet air pressure cuts off the air flow when the inlet pressure falls below a predetermined value relative to the ambient water pressure. A pressure-regulator in the form of shut-off valve 30 controls the pressure of air flowing from valves 16 and 23 to the diver.
