Abstract

Outer pipe 1 is screwed over ring 7 and has a plastics outer sheath 19. Foamed plastics insulation 4 is provided between the pipes. In another form, a conical spigot (20, Fig. 3, not shown) is formed integrally with element 3 and engages a conical socket in ring 7.
