Abstract

1364337 Buckles STECE-AB INDUSTRIF JADRAR 23 June 1972 [24 June 1971] 29664/ 72 Heading E2A . The plastics housing 9 of a strap anchorage securing a pair of strap tongues 3 to a U- shaped yoke 4, is notched at 12, on its inside surface, to enable the housing to split in two on collision so that the release buttons 7 do not become misaligned with their access apertures (10, 11) in the housing. In addition, there are internal bracing webs 13 which engage at 14, 15 to prevent the housing being crushed on lateral impact. The tongues are fastened by pivoted jaws 5, 6, secured by a latching levers 8 released by push-buttons 7.
