Abstract

136,401. Michon, J. H. M. March 6, 1919. Tyre attachments to rims.-A collapsible rim comprises a separate section 22 detachably jointed to the ends of the main part 10 of the rim by means of a plate 23 and a link 38. The plate 23 is riveted &c., to the section 22 and its free end is formed with a raised lug 24 which is adapted to pass through a slot 12 in the rim body, and to seat in a recessed portion 11 when the rim parts are closed as shown in Fig. 3. The further end of the link 38 is similarly formed at 39 to engage a slot 16 and recess 15. The other end of the link is formed with a tee-piece 45 to engage a slot 31 in the rim section, the parts being stepped to provide flush seats on both faces of the rim.
