Abstract
1363040 Photographic dye-developer diffusion transfer silver halide material FUJI PHOTO FILM CO Ltd 12 Oct 1972 [12 Oct 1971] 47226/72 Heading G2C A photographic material comprises a support bearing at least two layers each containing a dye developer and at least two silver halide emulsion layers (which may be the same layers as those containing the dye developer), at least one of the silver halide emulsion layers containing a compound of the formula:- wherein Q forms a heterocyclic ring system which may include a fused benzene ring and R is optionally substituted alkyl, optionally substituted aryl or a heterocyclic group. The compound may be a thiazolidine-2-thione, imidazolidine-2-thione, selanazolidine-2-thione, 1, 3, 4-thiadiazoline-2- thione, 1, 3, 4-selenadiazoline-2-thione, thiazoline- 2-thione, selenazoline-2-thione, 1, 2-dihydropyridine-2-thione, benzthiazoline-2-thione, benzoxazoline-2-thione, benzinidazoline-2-thione, benzselenazoline-2-thione or 1, 2-dihydroquinoline-2-thione. The compounds release a development inhibitor and prevents reduction in transfer density due to development in other emulsion layer(s).
