1378398 Photographic viscous developer FUJI PHOTO FILM CO Ltd 8 Nov 1972 [9 Nov 1971] 51618/72 Heading G2C A viscous developer for the silver salt diffusion transfer process contains (i) at least one hydroxylamine developing agent, (ii) at least one sulphurfree nitrogen-containing solvent for silver halide e.g. uracil, urazol, (iii) at least one thickening agent e.g. carboxymethyl cellulose, hydroxyethyl cellulose, (iv) at least one alkali and (v) at least one compound or its hydrohalide of one of the formulae:- wherein R 1 , R 2 and R 3 are hydrogen, alkyl, substituted alkyl e.g. hydroxyethyl or phenyl, m is 2, 3 or 4 and n is 0, 1, 2, 3 or 4. Many hydroxylamine developing agents are listed.
