1284282 Photographic materials EASTMAN KODAK CO Sept 25 1969 [1 Oct 1968] 47273/69 Heading G2C Photographic silver halide materials, particularly for the silver salt diffusion transfer process, contain a developing agent precursor of one of the formulae: [take in Formulae IV to VI] (in which R 1 and R 2 are each H, halogen, alkyl or, in formula V only, aryl; R 3 and R 5 are each H, halogen, alkyl, alkoxy or aryl; R 4 and R 6 are each H, OH, amino or a derivative thereof, alkyl, alkoxy or aryl, at least one being OH, amino or a derivative of amino). The precursors may be used in conjunction with conventional developing agents.
