Abstract

1362862 Pressurized fluid dispensers; ejectors A S LAERDAL 11 Aug 1971 [11 Aug 1970] 37785/71 Headings F1E and F1R A pressurized fluid dispensing container comprises an outer container 1 provided with springs 10, 14 and a pressurized fluid vessel 2 the outlet valve 5 of which rests against an abutment member 3 so that axial expansion of the vessel 2 due to an increase in pressure caused by over heating causes the valve 5 to be actuated and the pressure relieved. The outlet valve 5 is actuated when required by rotation of a knob 8 screw threaded into the bottom of the outer container 1. The member 3 is in the form of an injector and suction container 4 is mounted on the injector 3 so that the apparatus can be used to produce suction. A heating coil 17 operated by a battery 15 may be provided to compensate for cooling of the vessel 2 during discharge. A scale and marking are provided on the vessel 2 and container 1 respectively so that with the suction container 4 and injector 3 removed and the vessel 2 resting on spring 10 the weight of the remaining contents may be determined.
