1,064,684. Reciprocating pumps; syringes. G.B. DIAMOND. March 17, 1964 [March 19, 1963], No. 11194/64. Headings F1A and F1R, A high pressure dispensing attachment for a pressurized container 10, e.g. containing a fluid pressure actuated piston for discharging its contents, comprises a body member 30 mounted on the container discharge valve stem 22 and carrying a piston 46 slidable in a cylinder 60 carried by a nozzle member 48 slidable within member 30 against a spring 64. In operation, e.g. for supplying grease to a nipple, relative movement between the container and the attachment first opens the discharge valve 20 to fill cylinder 60 via stem 22 and ports 44 and 62. Further movement then telescopes nozzle 48 into member 30, so that piston 46 discharges cylinder 60.
