Abstract

1353221 Textile treating apparatus ARGELICH TERMES YC<SP>a</SP> 26 July 1971 [11 Nov 1970] 34906/71 Heading D1L [Also in Division B1] Apparatus for treating a textile fabric with a dye or other liquid comprises a tank 4 in one end of which is demountably received a device 3 comprising rotatable impellers 29, 30 and a toroidal flow-reversing channel 33. In operation the liquid is circulated from the tank through the toroidal channel, past the impellers and through a tubular member 11 to a holder 9 for the material to be treated; the direction of flow may be reversed by reversing the impellers and the flow regulated by the externally operated by-pass valve 45. There are supporting and flow guiding members 20, 39, 31, 19 in the body of liquid, toroidal channel, impeller chamber and tubular member respectively.
