Abstract

1353046 Electro-photographic copiers RICOH K K 10 Sept 1971 [7 Oct 1970] 42241/71 Heading G2H A photo-conductively coated, conductive screen 1 is charged at 2, 3 and exposed at 4 to produce an electrostatic latent image thereon, and then charged toner is passed through the screen on to a uniformly charged copy sheet 20 to form a toner image on the sheet corresponding to the latent image on the screen. Sheet 20 may be charged by corona discharge, friction, or electrically biased rollers. As shown, toner carried by a grooved roller 5 is doctored at 28, picked up by a brush 6 and then flicked off by electrically biased wires 8. (For Figure see next page
