1352461 Pipe couplings NAYLOR BROS (CLAYWARE) Ltd 11 Jan 1973 [21 Jan 1972] 2926/72 Heading F2G In a plastics pipe-coupling sleeve 2, for plainended pipes, resilient sealing ring 4 is shaped to be retained, by a locking ring 6, between two flanges 8 and 10. The locking ring 6 may be a snap fit on the second flange 10, or have an interference fit therewith and be secured by adhesive. Bead part 16 of the ring 4 may be compressed by a separate split ring 34 or by a rib (32, Fig. 2, not shown) formed integrally with ring 6.
