1352228 Gas blast switches MAGRINI FABBRICHE RIUNITE MAGRINI-SCARPA E MAGNANO MSM SpA 19 April 1971 [16 April 1970] 27198/71 Heading H1N A blast nozzle for an axial blast circuit breaker has a first convergent zone 1, a second cylindrical zone 5 and third divergent zone 9, the zone 9 being formed with a plurality of V-section grooves 13 as shown and the nozzle having two or more longitudinal channels 21 parallel to and symmetrically disposed around the axis of the chamber and extending along a major portion of the second zone 5 and continuing into the third zone 9. The nozzle is attached to and moves with the movable contact of the circuit breaker (not shown).
