Abstract

1352095 Ships MITSUBISHI JUKOGYO KK 10 Aug 1972 [10 Aug 1971] 37440/72 Heading B7S A method of shipbuilding comprises assembling an engine room framework 2 on the ground, installing equipment 4 (other than the main engine) in the framework 2, lifting the framework 2 on to the building berth and joining it to the adjacent hull sections 8. The framework 2 is then covered by a deck and side plating 7. An opening 3 is left for receiving the main engine and boilers (if used).
