Abstract
1350014 Electromagnetic fuel injectors SOC INDUSTRIELLE DE BREVETS ET D'ETUDES 12 Jan 1972 [25 Feb 1971] 1360/72 Heading F1B A fuel injection valve comprises a valve seat 4 and a valve closure member movable inside a hollow body between a closed position in which it is urged by a spring 6 on to the valve seat 4 and an open position in which it is held against a fixed stop by an electromagnet 8, the valve seat being urged away from the closure member by a spring 29 which pushes it against an adjustable stop 24. The loading of spring 6 can be varied by moving a friction pin 33. Fuel is supplied via inlet 2, orifice 20, chamber A, orifices 21, 22 and 23. Excess fuel is removed via orifices 25, passages 26 and 11. Air may be supplied via passages 27, 28.
