Abstract

1345602 Scraper conveyers GEWERKSCHAFT EISENHUTTE WESTFALIA 26 May 1971 [30 Sept 1970] 17241/71 Heading B8A Channel sections 10 of a scraper conveyer are at one end provided with a plate 14 welded to the underside of the floor 12 of the section, the other end of the section having recesses 16 to receive the plate 14 of the next section 10. Portions 18 of the plate are welded to connecting members 15 which are themselves welded to the side walls 11 of the section. When sections are connected there is sufficient clearance between the plates 14 and the recesses 16 and between the members 15 and grooves 13 formed by the side walls 11 to permit pivoting between the sections. The sections may be fabricated with slight curvature.
