1342388 Sintering alloy powders SINTERMETALLWERK KREBSOGE GmbH 19 April 1971 [10 April 1970] 23939/71 Heading C7A A sintering alloy powder containing in wt per cent:- 2-9% Cr 0À5-5À0% Mn 0-0À7% C balance Fe plus impurities, is made by a process comprising annealing an Fe/Cr alloy powder having a particle size less than 200 Ám for at least 2 hours at between 850‹ and 950‹ C with the exclusion of air, the Cr content of the annealed powder is then reduced by adding Fe and Mn powder each having a particle size less than 200 Ám, and the powders well mixed.
