Abstract

1339628 Hinges J BLUM [trading as JULIUS BLUM] 19 April 1971 [30 Jan 1970] 20625/71 Heading E2F A hinge, as shown, comprises a casing 1 fitted into a panel 2 and secured by screws (3). A pin 6 is fitted into the casing and also in a bore in a hinge part 7 which is attached to a door. The hinge part 7 consists essentially of a link arm 8 of rectangular cross section, which has two rectangular flaps 9 extending laterally from it and in the direction of the pin axis. In the open position, as shown, the flaps 9 engage two abutment surfaces 11 formed in the casing.
