Abstract
1298779 Attaching hinge members KUNSTSOFF GmbH 19 Nov 1971 [22 April 1971] 53938/71 Heading E2F A hinge has a housing 1 for insertion into a recess in an article of furniture; a hinge arm pivoted thereto (e.g. in an aperture 2); and an extension 3 with a pin 4 and a deformable tongue 5 on the extension, the tongue being separated from the housing by a gap 7 into which a member (e.g. a nail or screw) 8 can be driven to deform the tongue into engagement with the sides of the recess. The housing carries ribs or projections 9 either directly or obliquely opposite the tongue. The tongue may also be ribbed.
