1339421 Lift truck gripper attachments STOCKPORT MFG CO (1950) Ltd 19 April 1971 [9 April 1970] 16856/70 Heading B8H In a gripper attachment in which gripper arms 14, 14<1> are secured to guide rods 13 which are movable in tubes 12 secured to the attachment frame 11, a bearing sleeve 18 is axially located within each tube 12. Each sleeve is provided at one end with a flange 18<1> which engages a channel 12<1> at the inner face of the associated tube. The gripper arms 14, 14<1> are moved by hydraulic rams 16, 16<1>, the movement of the two arms being synchronized by a synchronizing unit 21, Figs. 3, 4 (not shown), comprising a rack for each clamp arm interconnected by a train of pinions.
