Abstract

1337376 Electric battery lamps L E GREY 31 May 1972 25552/72 Heading F4R A battery operable warning lamp comprises a casing containing a space to receive a battery and flasher means to enable the lamp to emit a continuously flashing signal, the lamp being provided with a remote control switch at one end of an electrical lead the other end of which is joined directly to the lamp or to a plug adapted to mate with a socket provided on the casing. The flasher means is preferably incorporated in the bulb of the lamp and the lamp glass may incorporate a distinctive signal, e.g. a cross, to indicate to an observer that a distress call is being made by, for example, a bedridden person. A switch is also provided on the casing.
