Abstract

1337274 Display containers MARDON SON & HALL Ltd 19 April 1971 [21 March 1970] 13783/70 Heading B8P A tubular display container erected from a blank (Figs. 1 and 3) of carton board or plastics material comprises marginal portions 13 and intermediate curved tie strips 12 which define display apertures. The tie strips may be the sole connections between the marginal portions (Figs. 3 and 4) or the container may include side strips 14, 15. The container is held erect by engagement between locking tabs 17 (17a, 17b, Fig. 3) and slots (16, Fig. 1, 16a, Fig. 3). The tie strips (12a, Fig. 3) may be spaced apart along the marginal portions (13a) which are of unequal diameters and include parallel fold lines (19) alternating with the tie strips (12a) causing them to adopt a polygonal ring configuration. The tie strips 12, (12a) may all be curved in the same sense, one series may be curved in one sense and another series curved in the opposite sense or they may be of S-shape.
