Abstract

1337214 Spray carburetters SOC INDUSTRIELLE DE BREVETS ET D'ETUDES 17 March 1972 [6 April 1971] 12573/72 Heading F1B The suction-operated air valve 3 comprises a plate supported by its downstream face on a surface providing a predetermined coefficient of friction therewith. The surface is provided on a sheet 30 in a guide assembly 27, 29. The induction passage cross-section is oval in the region of the valve 3 and an edge 34 of the valve is correspondingly shaped. A metering needle 4 fixed to the valve 3 controls the flow of fuel and air through an orifice 14. A deflector 33 on the valve 3 prevents fuel accumulation on the induction passage wall opposite the orifice 14. (For Figures see next page)
