Abstract

1331434 Sacks FISONS Ltd 11 Dec 1970 [16 Dec 1969] 61830/69 Heading B8K [Also in Division B5] An open ended sack has W folds at each side of the sack to form gussets, the folds at one side only being sealed together adjacent the open end of the sack. The sack may be made of a polyalkylene or a polyvinyl chloride and the seal may comprise a line of spot welds, or line weld, or a welded area. The seal line may be normal, or inclined to the longitudinal axis of the sack, or be arcuate. The closing seal of the sack may intersect the gusset seal. A chain of such sacks may be formed on a gusseted sack forming machine having means to seal the gussets on one side.
