1331267 Propellers VOSPER THORNYCROFT Ltd 1 Sept 1971 [4 Sept 1970] 42367/70 Heading B7V A ship's propeller has a hub which increases in diameter in an aft direction to inhibit cavitation. The hub may be concave, convex or conical in vertical cross-section and the point of maximum diameter may be displaced from the after end. A conventional hub is, in a modification, built up to the required shape by the addition of shaped pieces between the blades.
