Abstract

1,179,904. Mooring systems GLOBAL MARINE Inc. 5 May, 1967 [9 May, 1966], No. 32278/69. Divided out of 1,179,903. Heading B7S. The mooring system for a spar buoy disclosed in this specification is identical to that described in the parent Specification 1,179,903, the claims being concerned with such a system comprising an anchor, a buoyant mooring cable secured at one end thereof to said anchor, and a mooring cable of negative buoyancy and substantially uniform weight per foot of length secured at one end to the buoyant mooring cable and adapted to be secured at the other end to the lower end of the buoy.
