1329771 Rotary positive - displacement pumps KONZERV- •S PAPRIKAIPARI KUTATO�NT•ZET 1 July 1971 [23 July 19701 30785/71 Heading F1F A double-acting pump has a slotted piston 5 pivotally attached by a pin 4 to a rotary disc 2, which has peripheral lands a, b to form a chamber for the piston and control inlet and outlet openings in the casing 1. The slot 9 in the piston contains wear-resistant shoes 10 that engage with a roller bearing 8 on a pin 7 fixed to a plate 6, which is secured to the casing. Rotation of the disc by a shaft 3 causes the piston to oscillate relative thereto. The pin 7 can be located in any one of several bores (not shown) in the plate so that the amplitude of oscillation can be varied. The shaft 3 is driven by an electric motor through reduction gearing (not shown).
