1327522 Suction cleaners PROGRESSELEKTROGRERATE MAUZ & PFEIFFER 19 April 1971 [18 April 1970] 9998/71 1080298 Heading A4F A suction cleaner comprises a motor-driven rotary cleaning tool 5 carried by at least one supporting arm 10 having a helical end 10b pivotally mounted about the axis of the drive shaft of the motor 3 or the axis of a shaft carrying an intermediate gear 12 in the drive between the motor 3 and the tool 5. In the illustrated embodiment two supporting arms 10 are provided having resilient helical ends 10b loosely wound on members 14 coaxial with the motor shaft and applying a pivoting force to the arms 10 to press the tool 5 onto the floor surface.
