Abstract

1326880 Forming webs; non-woven fabrics OSKAR DILO KG 11 Feb 1972 [26 March 1971] 6406/72 Headings D1N and D1R Fibres 9 from a carder or a pile cross lapper are fed to a roller 1 having a pattern of fibre transporting areas and further areas that do not transport fibres, and removed from roller 1 by stripper roller 2 or by a comb and deposited in the pattern of roller 1 upon fabric web 4. Preferably the fibre transporting areas are covered with card clothing or saw tooth filleting and the other areas of roller 1 are blank. The fibres may be needled to fabric 4, which may itself have been preneedled, to form a pile fabric.
