1325949 Tamperproof closures STELLAKG WERNER DEUSSEN 21 May 1971 [22 May 1970] 16406/71 Heading B8T [Also in Division B5] A plastics tamperproof closure comprises a screw cap 4 which engages with threads 2 on the neck of a bottle, the cap 4 being provided with a safety ring 6 fitting over a flange 3 on the neck and separated from the cap 4 by webs 7. When the cap has been screwed on to the neck, the safety ring 6 is heated and lapped under the flange 3, so that to remove the cap it has to be broken away from the ring 6.
