Abstract

1325436 Gas mixing tubes CANNON INDUSTRIES Ltd 26 Aug 1970 [29 Aug 1969] 43021/69 Heading F4T In a gas burner having an elongated horizontally extending burner head 12 with laterally directed flame ports, an adjustable height grill assembly comprises a mixing tube having first and second slidably telescoping pipes 10 and 11 respectively, an upper end of pipe 10 being attached to the burner head 12 and the pipe 11, which is fixedly located relative to a horizontal bar 17 of a chassis or base, being adjacent to and having its bore aligned with an outlet of a gas nozzle 18. The end of pipe 11 adjacent to nozzle 18 has a Venturi formation 13. Burner head 12 is attached to a frame 14 which is slidable between struts 15.
