1324070 Electric thermal storage heaters LANDIS & GYT AG 19 April 1971 [7 April 1970] 25878/71 Heading F4U An electric thermal storage heating means comprises a heat accumulator 2, a hot air outlet passage 4 surrounded by cool suction passage 5, and a room temperature control appliance 6 with a temperature sensor having a thermal restoring means comprising a heating resistor energized by the current driving the discharging fan, the control appliance being spaced from the accumulator 2 by a layer of poor thermal conducting material 7. In operation the material 7 provides a thermal coupling between the accumulator 2 and the temperature sensor to compensate for the heating effects and the thermal restoring means on the sensor and for the gradual reduction in restricted heat of the discharging accumulator.
