Abstract
1321511 Magnetic garnets MATSUSHITA ELECTRIC INDUSTRIAL CO Ltd 19 April 1971 [20 March 1970] 24793/71 Heading H1H A garnet has the formula where 0 < x < 1À5 and 0 < 2x+g < 3À0. It may be made by mixing Y 2 O 3 , CaO, Fe 2 O 3 , T 1 O 2 and V 2 O 5 in the required molar proportions calcining the mixture, grinding the calcined mixture, moulding the resulting particles, and then sintering. Examples describe the preparation of Elements made of these ferrites show a high density (more than 95% theoretical), a low anisotropy constant and a small halfline width.
