Abstract
1320477 Knitting machines H STOLL G STOLL E STOLL E STOLL J STOLL A STOLL R E STOLL and M STOLL 10 Jan 1972 [20 Jan 1971] 1031/72 Heading D1C A flat two-bed knitting machine comprises a cam corner 10a which has, at each shogging step position of the needle bed racking cam, an adjustable body 14 which affects the form of the cam. Each block 14 is mounted in a groove 13 in plate 10a and has a transverse groove 15 into which is fitted a counter bored block 16 with a circular hole 16'. The eccentric flange of a boss 18 secured in a hole 19 in plate 10a has a slot 22 and can be turned by a screw driver engaging this slot and turning it with respect to scale markings 23 so that the block 14 can be shifted a predetermined amount. Alternatively, blocks 14 may be arranged in a racking straight edge of a racking carriage.
