Abstract

1,211,827. Knitting-machines. K. LIEBRANDT. 21 Aug., 1969 [13 Dec., 1968], No. 41735/69. Heading D1C. The cover block 4 holding the needles in position is clamped in position by a spring plate 5 which is attached to the block by a snap connection 9, 10 and pressed into position by a bolt 7 screwed into the needle bar 3. The block 4 is slightly curved and straightens when the plate 3 is tightened. The top and bottom edges of the block 4 which may be of nylon are longtudinally ribbed to grip the needles.
