Abstract

1320397 Fuel injection pumps BARKASWERKE VEB 15 Sept 1970 44048/70 Heading F1A The oppositely acting pistons 7 of a fuel injection pump are moved inwardly by respective pivoted rocker levers 3 actuated by a cam 1', the levers 3 each having a roller follower 2 maintained in contact with the cam 1' by a compression spring 4 easily accessible by disassembly of a cap 11. Each compression spring 4 acts on its lever 3 via a hollow piston 10 or forked member (14), Figs.2 and 3 (not shown), the arms (15) of which fit either side of lever 3 and are located by a transverse pin (17). Fuel pumped from the space 8 between the pistons is distributed to a plurality of outlets by a rotary distributor (not shown).
