1320224 Refractory linings DYNAMIT NOBEL AG 12 Aug 1970 [13 Aug 1969 (2) 2 Oct 1969] 38939/70 Heading C1J A reactor lining composition comprises a refractory and a binder of a partially hydrolysed mixed alcoholate of silicon and of Al and/or Zr in a solvent. Specified refractories are αAl 2 O 3 , MgO, BeO, ZrO 2 , ThO 2 , MgO.Al 2 O 3 , ZrSiO 4 , forsterite, mullite and sillimanite, whilst solvents are acetone and MeCoEt. The composition can be consolidated by treating with a moist non-reactive gas, by vibrating (both being followed by heating) or by calcining.
