Abstract

1320073 Cable conduits TEHALIT KUNSTSTOFFWERK GmbH 17 June 1971 28344/71 Heading H2C A cable channel of rectangular cross-section has grooves 8 to support barriers 9, both the side walls 2, 3 of the channel and the barriers 9 having slots 6, 11 in their free edges to cooperate with clamps 7. Each clamp 7 has at each end a rectangular offset part 17, of the same width as the slots 6, and a triangular shaped part 18 with a stem 19, the two portions being separated by a slot 14. The part 18 of a clamp is inserted in a slot 6 and as the stem 19 is engaged by the edge of the slot the part 17 latches therein. To co-operate with the slots 11, which each have a wide end 12 and a narrow end 13, the clamps 7 have arrow-shaped ribs 21 with grooves 22. A clamp may be divided into two parts along the line of a groove 22 and the parts positioned separately. In this case one clamp part, 23 say, is inserted into the wide end 12 of a slot 11 and then slid along to the narrow end 13. Another clamp part 24 is then positioned in the wide end 12 and part 23 is slid back into the wide end to support the barrier 9. A cover may be provided which engages longitudinal grooves 4. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 1,009,092.
