1319435 Laminated products TH GOLDSCHMIDT AG 3 Nov 1971 [3 Nov 1970] 51154/71 Heading B5N [Also in Division E1] A formwork board for use in producing rough concrete surfaces comprises a board and on at least that surface which is intended to face the concrete a carrier web impregnated with a cured phenoplast resin containing from 5 to 15% by weight of a concrete setting retarder such as a sugar (especially saccharose), a starch, a gluconate, sorbitol or pentaerythritol. In the examples, a birch plywood board is covered on both sides with sodium kraft paper impregnated with a solution of phenol-formaldehyde resin and retarder and heated under pressure to cure the resin.
