1318816 Cigarette gas lighters J G TRICOT 19 April 1971 [12 Feb 1970] 21051/71 Heading F4F In a sealing means for cigarette lighters comprising a plastics body or reservoir 2 containing liquefied gas 3, an integral tapped well 4 for receiving a valve body 5, incorporating valve means controlling the release or shut-off of the gas output, has a neck-shaped outer extension 7 with a cylindrical bore 9 of diameter slightly less than the outer diameter of the valve body and an inner peripheral groove 8 at the base of the sa d neck to impart radial resiliency thereto. In a modified form (Fig. 3, not shown), the neck is recessed within the body and surrounded by a concentric groove (14) to preserve radial resiliency.
