1318270 Windscreen wipers K SAKAMOTO 4 Sept 1970 [27 Dec 1969 (2) 20 March 1970 and 23 March 1970] 42531/70 Heading A4F A windshield wiper includes at least two yokes 5 for supporting a wiper blade 6 pivoted directly to a wiper arm 3 at spaced points 4. In order to maintain the blade pressed against a curved windshield, the yokes may be in two sections biased together, or the arm 204 may be pivoted to arm head 201 through retainer 202. Pivots O 1 , O 2 and spring 212 co-operate to press the blade on to the windshield. The wiper arm 3 Fig.12 (not shown) may be inclined so that air-pressure, when the vehicle is moving, aids in pressing the blade to the windshield.
