Abstract

The windscreen wiper for a car has a frame supporting a blade. The frame consists of two pivoted parts. One part forms the central part and has a connection for the driving arm, the other has two pivots and a flexible item which thrusts towards the glass surface. One part of the frame is extended opposite its pivot by a tongue. The other part, to the right of the tongue, has an opening enclosing the flexible item. The flexible item is a helicoidal compression spring or a hairpin type spring, of wire of V-shape.
