Abstract

1316651 Electro-photographic copier CANON K K 28 May 1970 [31 May 1969] 25843/70 Heading G2H In an electro-photographic colour copier the photo-conductive sheet is held stationary throughout while a conveyor carrying sets of charging, developing and cleaning means, one for each colour, is moved to bring each set in turn adjacent the photoconductive sheet. Exposure of the photo-conductive sheet may be effected from above or below. As shown, a rotatable disc conveyor 12 carries three sets of processing means comprising charging means 25, developing means 22, 23 or 24, cleaning means 26 and drying means 27. Photo-sensitive member 1 is exposed sequentially through filter wheel 10 the rotation of which and of the disc conveyor 12 is controlled by control signal means 28 and detector means 29. In the developer means 22, 23 and 24 liquid developer is pumped from a reservoir (30), Fig. 3 (not shown), through a perforated wall (34) to contact the photo-sensitive sheet 1.
