Abstract

1339361 Developing electrostatic latent images RANK XEROX Ltd 14 Feb 1972 6708/72 Heading G2H A developing apparatus for electrostatic latent images comprises means for passing material bearing the images through a liquid developer, a development electrode and means by which the spacing of the electrode from the material being developed can be varied, according to what degree of edge effect is required. There may be more than one development electrode. The electrode may be made up of belts and rollers, the belts being positionable in alternative parts of the rollers, which are of non-uniform diameter, so as to vary the spacing between the material and the cylindrical centre portions of the rollers.
