Abstract

1312889 Ring rail drives NAZIONALE COGNE SpA 26 Oct 1971 [26 Oct 1970 28 July 1971] 49721/71 Heading D1D In a ring spinning frame the ring rail is normally reciprocally driven by a heart cam 19 interconnected with the drive to the feed rollers 8, but by disengaging clutch 7, 7a and engaging clutch 9, 9a may be driven by the epicyclic gears 25 to traverse the bobbin once and hence bind a constant yarn length thereon. Reciprocal drive is transmitted from cam 19 to the gear 17 and hence via the epicyclic train 25 to the drum 24. When clutch 9, 9a is engaged shaft 30 directly drives drum 24. Drum 24 is connected to ring rail 2 by cables 18a, 18b. The clutches are actuated by a microswitch on completion of a package on the bobbin 1.
