Abstract
1311747 Missiles BOFORS AB 5 June 1970 [6 June 1969] 27377/70 Heading F3A A missile comprises solid fuel charges 2 and 3 whose common centre of gravity substantially coincides with the total centre of gravity of the missile and the combustion gases from which pass to a plurality of nozzles 7 which are mounted in an annular member 5, stabilizing wings 6 being alternately attached to the annular member 5 between adjacent nozzles. The wings can be folded alongside the missile. Both the wings and nozzles are mounted in a plurality of individual recesses 8 or in a common annular recess. The wings are preferably mounted close to the total centre of gravity and the resultant of the thrust from the nozzles coincides with the axis of symmetry of the missile and is directed through the total centre of gravity.
