1306890 Steel composition ALLEGHENY LUDLUM INDUSTRIES Inc 7 Oct 1971 [8 Oct 1970] 46766/71 Heading C7A A steel composition comprises in weight percent: - 0À3 to 0À5% carbon 3 to 5% chromium 3 to 5% tungsten 1 to 2% molybdenum 0À2 to 1% vanadium 1 to 5% cobalt up to 0À01% boron the balance being iron, steel-making residuals e. g. silicon and manganese and impurities e. g. sulphur and phosporus. The steels are particularly useful in tools and dies for hot-working applications.
