Abstract

1306787 Electromagnetic relays SIEMENS AG 14 May 1971 [15 May 1970] 15085/71 Heading H1N An electromagnetic relay having an E- shaped yoke 1, an energizing winding 2b on the central limb 1a of the yoke and a U-shaped armature 3 mounted on the outer limbs 1b of the yoke by means of two leaf springs 4 has its leaf springs forming -extensions of the respective limbs 3a of the armature to which the springs 4 are secured by claw-shaped ends 4c which each embrace an armature limb and engage in recesses 3c therein. Each spring 4 has two parts 4b, 4c at an obtuse angle α to set the armature bias and the part 4b is cut away at 4f to allow flexure of the part when the armature is attached to the yoke limb 1a on coil energization. The springs 4 are secured to the yoke by oval rivets 5 in oval holes 4d.
