Abstract

1303379 Hand tool handles H M UNGER 23 Nov 1971 [23 Nov 1970] 54467/71 Heading B4K A holder for a blade 4 comprises a channelform mounting member 1 adapted to hold the blade 4 and a channel-form cap 5 which is slidably and pivotally connected to the mount 1 so that in one position it covers the edge of the blade and embraces the mount but can be moved to a second position in which the blade is exposed and the cap 5 embraces the rear side of the mount 1. As shown, Fig. 2, the cap is in an intermediate position from which it can be pivoted to the first position or slid to the second position. Guide grooves 9, 10 in the mount 1 co-operate with projecting points 11, 12 in the cap at one end thereof to allow the required movement. The blade 4 is gripped resiliently in the mount 1.
