1303375 Terminal blocks HEGO ELECTRIC GmbH 25 Feb 1970 18046/71 Divided out of 1301322 Heading H2E An end support of electrically insulating resilient plastics material for electrical terminal blocks detachably mounted on a rail comprises a pedestal 19 or 30 which is adapted to carry either an eccentric, rotatable, locking member 18 or is adapted to carry a displaceable locking member 31, each of which locking members distorts the end support when respectively rotated or displaced appropriately to cause the support to grip the rail 5 resiliently. Recesses 20, 21 in the support produce weakened portions 22, 23 at which distortion takes place to permit arms 26, 27 to grip the rail. The member 18 is retained in its recess by shoulders (Fig. 2, not shown) and has slots 28 to enable it to be rotated by a screwdriver. The member 31 may be wedge shaped and may be provided with serrated edges 32 to co-operate with serrated edges of the pedestal. A strap 33 retains the member 31 captive with the pedestal.
